Isoniazid Backorder- Due to manufacturer delays isoniazid injection is currently on backorder. If you or your patients are having difficulty obtaining this medication during the isoniazid injection backorder period, Bayview Pharmacy can compound it for you.
Isoniazid injection is recommended for all forms of tuberculosis in which organisms are susceptible.
Bayview Pharmacy, Rhode Island's premier compounding pharmacy, has the ability to compound isoniazid as a sterile injectable solution. During this isoniazid shortage, prescriptions will need to be written with the request to compound, and an example of how you might prescribe follows:

Inject as directed
