TRILUMA® Backorder - Bayview Pharmacy Can Help!

Are you having difficulty finding Tri-Luma at your local Pharmacy because of a manufacturer backorder? In late August 2010 there was a recall on the product Tri-Luma. Is is unceratin as to when Tri-luma may be re-introduced to the dermatology market or how long this shortage will last.
The good news is that Tri-Luma is available during this time of backorder from Bayview Pharmacy as a compounded prescription.
Bayview Pharmacy, Rhode Island's premier compounding pharmacy, has the ability to compound a Fluocinolone 0.01%/Hydroquinone 4%/Tretinoin 0.05% cream during this period of manufacture backorder. Prescriptions will need to be written with the request to compound. An example of how you might prescribe follows:
Compounded Medication
Fluocinolone acetonide 0.01%, Hydroquinone 4%, Tretinoin 0.05%) Cream

Apply once daily at night.
