PRESCRIPTION COMPOUNDING FOR NAUSEA AND/OR VOMITING

None of us enjoy being nauseous or getting sick, but when your child becomes ill, it can really become a frustrating and concerning time for a parent.  And when your child is sick the last thing you want to put them through is having to get a shot, or swallow a pill, or administer a suppository.

The pharmacists at Bayview Pharmacy have the ability to compound certain medications into transdermal gels, that can be applied directly to a child's wrist.  These medications would be customized for your child based on her age, weight, and unique medical circumstances.

Examples of medications that a medical provider might prescribe for a child with nausea and/or vomiting include:

Ondansetron

Promethazine

Prochlorperazine
