Starting October 7, 2026. When you type a script in PK, set the Payment field to a Tabz code. That one field is how the order gets to Tabz. Nothing else on the screen changes.
Where to set it
Type the script the way you always do.
On the 1. Dispensed tab, open the Payment dropdown. It sits under Discard after, to the right of Ship method.
Pick the code for where the order is going and how it ships. Use the table below.
Save.

TABZ PICKUPOne code for pickups, cold or not.
RT room temperatureREF refrigeratedGo by the state on the ship-to address, not the patient's home state.
Fridge and room-temperature items shipping together? Use REF. When an order could take two codes, pick the higher one.
Pharmacist check before verifying
Payment shows a TABZ code. Not blank, not CASH.
The zone matches the state on the ship-to address.
REF if anything in the package ships cold. RT only if nothing does.
Wrong code? Fix it in PK before you verify.
What happens after you save
Tabz pulls the fill from PK into the patient's cart and texts them a link to pay. The text comes from a Tabz number, not ours.
Shipping. Print the label once the order shows under Paid, needs label on the Payments page.
Pickup. The order shows there with a Pickup tag. Text the patient it's ready, then click Picked up when they get it.
Common mistakes
Payment left blank or on CASH. Tabz never sees the fill, so the patient gets no cart and no text.
A fridge item, or a mixed fridge and room-temperature order, set to RT. Anything cold in the package makes it REF.
The wrong zone, like a New Hampshire patient on LOCAL. New Hampshire is REGION.
