It is used to treat myopia, glaucoma, cataracts, uveitis, and conjunctivitis.

Atropine 0.02% Ophthalmic Drops is used to reduce intraocular pressure in glaucoma, reduce inflammation in uveitis, and reduce pain and discomfort in conjunctivitis. It can also be used to reduce the progression of myopia and cataracts. It is important to note that Atropine 0.02% Ophthalmic Drops should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to atropine or any of its components.

Patients should be instructed to use Atropine 0.02% Ophthalmic Drops as directed by their healthcare provider. The drops should be administered in the affected eye(s) as directed, usually one to two drops in the affected eye(s) two to four times daily. Patients should be advised to not touch the dropper tip to any surface, as this may contaminate the solution.
