Lidocaine 2%/Hydrocortisone 1% Base MBK™/Wax/MucoLox™ Suppository is an FDA-approved topical treatment for the relief of external hemorrhoidal symptoms. MucoLox™ is a patented combination of lidocaine 2%, hydrocortisone 1%, base MBK™, and wax. It provides superior lubrication, facilitating easier insertion of the suppository. The lidocaine 2% works by numbing the area immediately around the hemorrhoid and providing short-term relief from the pain and irritation. The hydrocortisone 1% base MBK™ helps to reduce inflammation associated with the hemorrhoid and limit the spread of the infection. The wax acts as a lubricating agent, preventing the suppository from sticking to the area and making it easier to insert. MucoLox™ is designed to provide users with a rapid and effective relief from external hemorrhoid symptoms. It is recommended to be used up to 4 times a day to provide the best results.
