How Does it Work

A small arrow pointing down

Methyl Salicylate 15%/Menthol 10% Topical Cream is a potent compounded formulation that combines the analgesic properties of Methyl Salicylate and the counterirritant effects of Menthol. This unique blend of active ingredients is designed to provide targeted relief from pain and inflammation.

Methyl Salicylate, a topical analgesic, functions by inhibiting the transmission of pain signals to the brain. This results in a significant reduction in perceived pain. On the other hand, Menthol, a topical counterirritant, induces a cooling sensation on the skin. This effect helps to alleviate inflammation and pain, providing a soothing relief.

Use your system's compound, non-formulary, or free-text prescription entry and name the preparation exactly as written in step 3.
