Yes. Bayview is licensed in Florida and in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, so a patient who moves between those states can keep the same pharmacy and the same prescription file. Call 401-284-4505 or note the change when you request a refill, and tell us which address to ship to and roughly when you move. That way the package follows you instead of arriving at an empty house.

We fill prescriptions from the patient's own prescriber only.
Yes. Bayview compounds Schedule II to IV preparations and ships them to Florida patients when a licensed prescriber sends a valid prescription. Federal rules and Florida rules govern how those prescriptions are transmitted, whether refills are allowed and how long a prescription stays valid, so a new prescription is often needed for each fill. Call 401-284-4505 with questions about a specific preparation.
Compounded preparations are usually paid out of pocket. Some plans reimburse the patient afterwards if an itemized receipt is submitted, and we can provide one with every fill. In most cases, yes. Call 401-284-4505 with the name of your current pharmacy and we will request the prescription, or ask your prescriber to send a new one to us. You can also request a transfer online and we will contact your current pharmacy for you. A new prescription is often the cleaner route because the formula arrives exactly as written. Refills on controlled substances follow state and federal rules and may require a new prescription rather than a transfer.
