Niacinamide 2%/Clindamycin 1% Topical Foam is a specially formulated treatment for acne vulgaris. This unique compound combines the anti-inflammatory properties of niacinamide with the antibiotic power of clindamycin, providing a dual-action approach to managing acne. Niacinamide works to reduce the redness and swelling often associated with acne, while clindamycin targets acne-causing bacteria on the skin. Together, these ingredients work synergistically to decrease the severity of acne and enhance the overall skin appearance.

For optimal results, patients should use this product as directed by their healthcare provider. The foam should be applied to the affected skin areas twice daily, ideally in the morning and evening. It is crucial to avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes during application. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Concurrent use of other topical acne medications should be avoided while using this product to prevent potential interactions or skin irritation.

Patients are advised to continue using a gentle cleanser and moisturizer to maintain skin health. Additionally, picking or squeezing acne lesions should be avoided as it can exacerbate irritation and inflammation.

This unique formulation is dispensed in a foamer bottle, which transforms into a lightweight and easily spreadable foam upon dispensing. The foam offers efficient coverage and absorption of the active ingredients, niacinamide and clindamycin, for targeted treatment of acne.
