Bayview Pharmacy is pleased to present a specially compounded topical cream that incorporates Pentoxifylline 5%, Rifampin 2%, Clindamycin 1%, and Glycolic Acid. This unique formulation is specifically designed to address a range of skin conditions, such as acne, rosacea, and eczema.

Pentoxifylline is a potent anti-inflammatory agent that effectively reduces redness and swelling associated with various skin conditions. Glycolic Acid serves as an exfoliant, aiding in the removal of dead skin cells and fostering the growth of new, healthy skin cells.

This synergistic blend of medications and exfoliant works together to reduce inflammation, decrease bacteria, and promote the growth of healthy skin cells.

The cream is a semisolid preparation dispensed in a pump mechanism, designed for convenient and controlled application on the skin. This allows for localized treatment or absorption of active ingredients, ensuring that the medication is delivered precisely where it's needed.

If you have any queries about this formulation or how it can assist in treating your skin condition, please do not hesitate to contact us at Bayview Pharmacy.

Compounded preparations have no NDC, so this formula will not appear in your EHR's drug search. Use your system's compound, non-formulary, or free-text prescription entry and name the preparation exactly as written in step 3. If your EHR forces you to pick a listed drug, pick the closest entry for the active ingredient and put the full formula in the prescription body (the Sig or directions field), not in Notes to Pharmacy.

Compounded preparations have no NDC and will not appear in your drug search. For EPCS to validate, select a drug entry your EHR recognizes as controlled, usually the bulk powder entry for the active ingredient (for example Ketamine (bulk) powder, not a branded product), then put the full formula from step 3 in the prescription body. A free-text entry that does not validate as controlled will be rejected by your EPCS module.
